Act 1
DAS LIED EINES TELESKOPES
by Matias Mucchi Alonso and Simone Rubino
A forgotten telescope on the moon that spends its life observing space and the earth.
The telescope is us. Man's relationship with reality is the lens of a telescope observing his surroundings. A reality perceived through our emotional filters, our lenses, our masks.
The telescope from the moon observes his surroundings, but sometimes it happens that curiosity in him prevails and so he decides to take a closer look. All of a sudden the perception changes, the emotional filter is transformed and from a simple observer the telescope becomes a protagonist. These different perceptions of reality give rise to inner conflicts of conflicting emotions that result in a song, the song of the telescope.
Das Lied eines Teleskops dwells on the difference in emotional perceptions that each of us has of the reality around us.
Through the creation of worlds in which light, movement and sound will be the hosts, this new artistic project is preparing to give its own personal interpretation of a theme that is always present in human history.
